Chick-fil-A – Was hired as a fulltime employee & promised $15.50 an hour starting wage but they are only paying me $12.50. I have reached out to everyone in the store multiple times to try express my concern but no one replies to me. Now i have also gone from getting 39 hours to 22 hours! | Comparably

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The customers. Definitely not the employees. With exception of a few.

What makes you most happy at work?

Getting to go home, honestly. Its awful working there. I would quit if i didnt desperately need a job right now. But also a lot of the customers are very kind and i love interacting with them!

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication, taking employees concerns seriously, and poor attitude. Some of the managers will actually scream at employees at my store. I never would have expected chick fil a to be like this. My store doesnt care about their employees AT ALL.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The person i did my interview with made me feel very comfortable and not anxious like most other job interviews. Too bad they did not keep their promise on my wage and my hours. Im not sure if that is in the hiring managers control or not.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

The managers are very "clickish" if that makes sense. Its like they have their own little group and they act like they are better than everyone else. Also a lot of other co workers who have been there longer give attitude to new employees. They should treat everyone fairly.
