I have a shift lead that gets mad at me for having accommodations for my disability, she singles me out. Other coworkers have brought it up as well as myself to our operator, and nothing has changed.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworkers need to be made aware of accommodations. Coworkers also need to be made aware of who has called out.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Because we had all been working at the specific location for a while when we were interviewed, he asked us a lot about how the environment was
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There is no need for me to justify my disability to leader ship. If I have a doctors note, it's a doctors note. I don't pick my accommodations, my doctor does.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people that understand rally around me. I have a wonderful group of people that understand that I did not choose to be disabled. They are willing to fight for me even when my operator won't.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Everyone is being overworked. In the morning I often run register by myself only getting help during rushes which means things don't get stocked because I can never move. We are often short 3 to 4 people per shift.
