Started off well and as time passes you tend to see and learn more. You feel less appreciated with the expectations to always do better no matter how well you do. You cant speak your feelings or share a concern. If you stray away form what a "director" wants you get punished. You notice favoritism.
What did you like most about the interview process?
When I interviewed I enjoyed the group interview. It helped us break the ice and interact. we were about to learn from one another. I dont hear much of that anymore.\
What makes you most happy at work?
Staying busy, learning and excelling in what I do. Enjoying the atmosphere where I work. Supporting one another and watching team members advance. Support and guidance. I enjoy working with some staff Lack of respect and support dampens the day
What are some of the best things about your team?
I enjoy s few amazing hard working employees and managers. They are not all appreciated and some changing employment soon. The select are supportive, helpful, willing to take time to teach and encourage you to be amazing. Not many Directors do this. I am thankful for this few!
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Allow an employee to do their job. Help them advance and excel in their job not "make them" maintain to even give up. Not express power control and not lead by example. The leaders should not belittle or talk about employees openly. Leaders should not "punish" employees. Respect how hard some work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some of the amazing coworkers and when I was interacting with customers some were amazing as well. They made my day! As you may be disciplined for something someone else can walk up and do the same thing. If they are favored they will not be spoken to at all while you were.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
when discussed its expressed it is not a good time, let me speak to another director etc. When initially offered it was stated it would not be fair to pay $ to all the other employees. I dont discuss my pay and what an employee deserves is that. people talk so many do know and not happy with the pay
