I am not happy with the way this section of the company is run. I am planning on leaving as soon as I find another job because this job is much too stressful due to the unnecessary obstacles caused by lack of management.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I got hired fairly quickly after the interview.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I think that if management focused everyone on why we do everything we can to make our store great, then maybe people would care a bit more. I love the idea behind the values of CircleK, but my store just doesnt exemplify them.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Not having the supplies I need and being obstructed from doing my job properly is frustrating. I get told to do everything I'm supposed to, yet they place 10 barriers in my way that sometimes are too much for me to jump over.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We oftentimes dont have the proper materials for 3rd shift to clean. Also, people always clutter the back room, which is not only a fire hazard, but it makes it nearly impossible for 3rd shift to get to the sink to wash dishes. Management is sorely lacking.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I honestly wouldn't mind my pay if I came in and didnt have so many issues getting the basic supplies I need to do my job. We dont use the regulation cleaning chemical and they dont provide me with alternatives all the time. This job is too stressful for such little pay.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I think all shifts should have at least 2 people working so that all tasks can get done. Also, I think that management needs to find a way to get people inspired to work here. The CircleK brand is not being adhered to here. How can they expect employees to care if management doesnt?
