I don't receive a compensation package that I know of.
The manager at the time was very friendly, and seemed eager to have someone willing to work third shift.
Most of them are friendly and understanding. My only issues are with my manager, whom doesn't seem to care about what I have to deal with. My previous manager was great, and I never had that problem with him.
Better communication and empathy from management. I work hard..but I admittedly worked harder when I felt appreciated...which I don't now. I've gone a full year and a half, working fulltime through a pandemic, and time off has been denied to me for that entire time.
They need to understand that 3rd shift doesn't exist wholly to fill in the gaps that the daytime shifts fail to do when they have two or more people working, compared to me being all alone at night trying to maintain sanity while dealing with the worst of society.
New managers need to be trained better to interact with ALL of their employees..not just the ones they spend the most time around. If issues with my performance aren't discussed with me, I have no idea what needs to be improved upon, and likewise they don't know what they could do better for me.
