Been with Circle K for a few years and can honestly say that the company culture is excellent, the opportunities to grow your career are boundless, and my over-all experience has exceeded expectations. Of course, like with most jobs, you have to work hard, work smart, and earn what you get.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Salary, bonus, stock purchase plan, 401k, etc. The total comp package is strong.
What makes you most happy at work?
The ability to stay busy and make a significant difference for those that I support.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Teamwork and collaboration. I have a really close team who like to "play" and have fun at work while being extremely efficient and over-achieving regularly in the amount of work getting done.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The "easy going" approach. I wasn't just peppered with questions, the people that interviewed me took time to get to know me and asked genuine questions to determine my fit for the role.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is aggressively pursuing greatness by being willing to invest in solutions to learn their effectiveness and impact on the organization. Those that positively impact and brought in permanently while solutions that don't have a strong impact and removed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I'd say the team work and collaboration. We are a global company that is in 26 countries and employees 130k people, yet within each team is a family feel. It amazes me how the company feels small and close knit even though it is so large.
