Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

The company hires from outside the organization to bring in "fresh talent," specifically into "leadership". This is meant to undermine existing staff, and encourage them to look elsewhere for employment. The phrase "it is what it is" is endemic to the culture of this company.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Industry leading; making it difficult to search elsewhere for employment

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Management needs to be accountable to its staff and involve them in decision-making that directly affects them.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Company is generally very meeting heavy for office and administrative workers, with less interaction with trades and other staff.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The PPO plan for health insurance is becoming more rare in the job market, and is far preferred over high deductible plans

What makes you most happy at work?

Having input into the infrastructure and design of policy and procedure helps me feel connected to the company, and invest within its success.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Be accountable to those below you, work with your team members directly to have a better understanding of what day to day tasks look like.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Currently in the 90th percentile of pay for my position group. PTO is on par with industry, option to select PPO for health insurance is nice.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Many within the organization believe in the company's success, regardless of their position within the company. This leads to a more overall positive work culture and environment.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Top-down management needs to disappear and make way for bottom up leadership. No leader should ask something of a direct subordinate that they would not or cannot do themselves.

What did you like most about the interview process?

I enjoyed being able to tour the facility prior to accepting a job offer. This allowed me to get a first hand experience for what it is like on a daily basis

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leading by example and be open to learning from employees. Understand that the "place where work is performed" is also performed by people, and management is accountable to those people, just as those people are accountable to management.

What makes you most happy at work?

Culture and morale have declined day over day, year over year, to the point that going to work is exhausting and a chore. Lack of direction and management accountability has deteriorated my ability to be a top performer, and slowly removed my drive to be successful.
