Because Dell does not pay the market rates for talent
Internal politics, texan culture at corporate level, SVPs pretending to be inclusive yet are the most discriminating bosses in the world

I know people are making comparable salary with less experience, less knowledge, and fewer past contributions
Even though dell is earning record revenues they are not benefitting employees. Hike percentage is equal to inflation
2% growth over 4 years, it's mental.
Need better annual adjustments and long term incentives.
Increase salary, add stock options for employee and other perks including free medical insurance for parents

I'd feel better about my job if it was more forgiving for general healthcare practices like ergonomics or screen breaks, which are usually thrown to the side during any sort of pressure. this has lead me to develop a chronic leg pain which managers refuse to acknowledge.
Annual raises do not keep up with inflation. Hard work is not rewarded with more pay. Top 10% performers and slackers get compensated equally. There used to be more performance-based bonuses, but not any more.

We are paid below our market value. So many Dell employees choose to leave solely for income purposes and then come back in order to be paid fairly.
Realize the cost of living has increased and so should the compensation. Especially since a majority of employees work more than the average 40 hours
