Product and tech is exciting - CEO vision is good. Those are main reasons to stay. Fast paced, high workload; this is OK and what I signed up for. Negatives: Current manager has hired his buddies and creates little social events that some of us simply can not attend, this leaves us out of his favor

Good Projects, exciting work and some good people.
What makes you most happy at work?
When projects are completed to a high quality and we are allowed to enjoy them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Generally competent. Receptive to input and good attitudes. Most teams I deal with directly are GOOD.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
CEO Has a clear vision and is focused. I think we have managed to expand well and hire some competent people.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No acknowledgment from 'manager' as to amount of effort expended as manager has no clue of the amount of effort it took. Its not always about money......... Manager provides feedback that employees are 'negative' yes fails to engage with them on a regular basis to find out and support.
