  • If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Dollar General?
I would focus on employees and make it so they would want to stay. As it stands, we have a revolving door because they need to find a job that they can support themselves and a family

Due to Dollar Generals business model I’m not sure it can be changed. Dollar General has a flawed business model that puts excessive stress and stress on their front line employees. Front line employees such as myself are extremely over worked while being highly underpaid. I believe Dollar General CEO knows this, it’s that he or they just don’t care. The business model is geared to make money off the sweat of the poor’s back, so there is no way that they could possibly understand our troubles or concerns. Dollar General front line employees had to work on the holidays, I bet corporate didn’t. FLAWED BUSINESS MODEL
