Dollar Tree Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I'm fine with all the benefits just not the management.

The best part is the medical and dental insurance

My dental and medical I guess

I am a part time employee

To be handling the packages, but I am not to be carrying a heavy packages, I have a bad back, and I was to handling the packages is light weight

I didn't know I had a compensation package

It was sad its the dolla store

There was no compensation package

Do not have a compensation package

Yes I will be takeing

I did it myself with no help of the staff.

Review from Executive Dept

insurance because they will cover the cost

Everything is absolutely going good

Was not abke to get it due to school duties

I get to have vacations but i cant have them together

Vacation and sick time off

I love it all so far

Well I just mist it being free.. But it's still a good deal

Review from Operations Dept

Time off when I need it.

Great pay but should be given sick pay when your out sick.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Reviews with futute goals and training

It's because of the lack of shifts that I often have trouble paying certain bills and whatnot. I needed shifts to keep me afloat but I feel like they don't listen.

For what they expect of their hourly employees, they pay would be more palatable if they at least gave them a minimum of 20 hours per week. Mind you these are mostly low-income people and 8-15 hours a week is a joke and one never knows how many hours they will get from week to week.

I was expected to run the cash register, and stock the shelves, while the shift manager took multiple smoke breaks. I was called into to work when not scheduled and given the impression that if I didn't my position at the store was in jepordy.

Be acknowledged for my work

I would have apprecited a raise

Getting better work hours and not being treated less

To have my termination reviewed appropriately and not under false pretenses

I'm not happy with my pay

Better understanding and explanation from management

Haven't looked into any benefits

they could at the very least provide some more benefits. Ot any at all since they just leave us all to sink or swim.

Review from Sales Dept

Give yearly evaluations and raises based on employees performance. Stop bringing new hires doing the same work at or above what a person that has been there for over a year makes hourly.

Being treated right and fairly.

Higher income to match or beat competitors

Review from Marketing Dept

Poor management affects retention. When the store is not fully staffed, the store manager fills in. I often work double shifts and I am salaried. At 54K. I am made to feel that I cannot take any time off. I think that answers the question.

Review from Sales Dept

Better pay; respect from management; acknowledgemts for jobs well done.

I did'nt get paid at all.

Review from Sales Dept
