There seems to be a lack of strong product vision at the SVP level. A lot of the requests we get from the business seem idiosyncratic and not clearly aligned to larger corporate initiatives. There also seems to be a lack of strategy in integrating our sister companies into our customer experience.

He needs to 1. Have our backs when we need his support, instead of making his higher ups happy. 2. Have a much better knowledge of what we do day to day. 3. Give us his undivided attention when speaking to us. 4. Not be afraid of conflict, as some people in my dept get away with too much.

I'd like to see more celebrations of milestones. For example, at other companies when an employee has a big anniversary like 5 or 10 years, they get some kind of recognition. More regular stock option grants also seem to be more standard at other tech companies, and it feels ad hoc at Fanatics.

Though we get our work done, the work ethic could be improved. I feel there is a lot of work that gets "phoned in", when something special could be done.

My coworkers are incredibly negative, and very vocal about it. The cubicle area I work in is needlessly loud and distracting. People with offices need to close their doors when they need to be in speaker conference calls. There is a lot of swearing in my dept, which I feel is very unprofessional.

Streamline processes, a lot of chiefs and very little indians. Working efficiently with technology that is going to help us work better. We do a lot of leg work when there are applications out there to make our work more effective.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Leadership doesn't seem to know what my team's contribution to the company is, and therefore we don't get much support or opportunity for career growth. My team and the teams we work with understand we are chronically under resourced, but upper management doesn't respond.

Fix the entire process of how production art runs. We're slammed with work, there's no structure, and half the time we get maybe 75% of the information needed for a job. 90% of the time we have to work on a project twice because we're not given all the info needed
