I love working at Fetch, and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. I have enough freedom to feel valuable and useful, but enough support to not feel forgotten. I don't get paid as well as new hires as there are very few opportunities in my dept for growth, but growing in a new dept is an option!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love the company values, the emphasis that we put on connectivity, and how comfortable the steering team makes me feel talking to them.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I get along very well with those in my team, however on a larger scale, folks from different departments don't take the time to find out what it is that I do, which causes them to talk down to me and undermine my job by going around me constantly.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am the lowest paid employee in my department. I see constantly that we are hiring people in at very good rates and that we pay well, but if you've been here a while in a department that doesn't give a lot of promotions or raises, you don't get paid equitably.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think that they are really caring individuals, no matter the position you are in, they care about you. I think they have run a successful company to this point, and I am happy to see where it is going. I am not as confident in the lower-level leadership at the Manager/Director level.
What makes you most happy at work?
The support I have to take on projects and the team that I am on. I love my direct co-workers and have genuinely enjoyed every project I've worked on. There aren't many project that I see my co-workers on either that I wouldn't want to be involved in, so the work is generally good!
