Compensation. When inflation is between 2-3% and we are given annual raises of 2-3%, then we are not actually getting raises. Management "Thanks for all your hard work, we are going to pay you exactly the same as last year'. Also management "I can't figure out why we can not keep people".

We are the lowest paid bank in the area. Our raises are terrible. I have been here for over 20 years. I could quit & get re-hired making more than I am now. FMB doesn't care about their long-term employees.

Highly competitive environment. Silos. Department lines of business protect their own. Little advocacy from superiors or for others. HUGE egos at SVP levels and above. People bully others to get their way. Male dominated workforce.

Sales needs to respect credit and not trample over them at every opportunity. Credit gets no respect. Sales gives us incomplete or nonexistent information coupled with borderline impossible deadlines, and we're left to figure it out so they can get their commission.
