I love First Merchants! I have worked at larger banks and here, I have a voice for my customers! I do think people care and have come a long way, but we have work to still do.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love my team because we're all so different but we all work together very well!
What makes you most happy at work?
I love being a leader and helping my team. I am exhausted along with several peers. We work every day and most work before and after closing to attempt to get things done. On our days off ( Saturday afternoon's and Sunday we still respond and answer to clients )
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know the company is looking at management pay and higher. We have done several increases for SA's and CRR's over the last few years and nothing for management or higher. We're getting more and more added to our plates ( which is fine ) but compared to other companies, we're paid lower.
