I think this job is meaningful in its own right, and what I do helps facilitate the success of the company. I think there is a bit of a disconnect between upper management and the lower level employees.

While sometimes I feel the executive team is a little out of touch with how people live and work, I appreciate the company as a whole. We have a solid foundation here in the communities we serve and I appreciate getting to be a part of that.

I enjoy the people I work with, and their personalities make my daily work more meaningful.

Being able to interact with the friends I've made and seeing how our work impacts the community.

People are willing to help with just about anything, and we are often laughing together. I appreciate the way we've bonded as a unit within our company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The Employee Activities Committee works very hard to have a diverse range of activities to show their appreciation for us. I appreciate the creativity and thought that goes into the planning of events.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The cost of living keeps increasing and wages do not reflect this. Our insurance is incredibly expensive and often prevents me from using it as I probably would if it didn't cost so much.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
While the paid wage for hourly employees is certainly competitive for the current market, I still struggle to feel like I make enough money to maintain basic needs. I think higher wages would definitely make me feel valued, especially for the level of work ethic I put into my position.
