Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Amount of resposibility vs. the pay, does not create an equal balance. Same role at other institutes pay significantly more.

It's very hard to live on anything under 60k a year, especially when you're an independent income. I make under 40k a year as an assistant manager. I work just as hard as someone who has been here longer, this should not be a main factor. The health benefits are awful, expensive and poor coverage.
