I like working for my company but I feel like the DEI agenda is condescending and feels too obligatory and like "virtue signaling" rather than organic.
Good. However, there are still times I feel like upper management wants us to say what they want to hear rather than what we NEED them to hear. And when we say what we want to say, the response is "what are you doing or what MORE will you do to solve this on your own".
Good but I feel like the DEI initiatives can come across inauthentic.
I am mostly proud to work for FMB except I think the DEI initiatives are well-intentioned but misguided. Sometimes the social media posts I see are preachy and put too much emphasis on identity. DEI puts people in separate boxes (allies or not) and it's 2025-this should not be happening anymore.

Despite being here 10 years and with AVP status, I make the lowest possible for my position.
I've been here 10 years, in my role for 6, achieved AVP and still make the bottom in my tier.
I am at the VERY low end of the range and I've been in my position for several years with multiple "exceeds expectations" ratings.
When bottom level of pay is raised, consideration is not given for others so if you've had a promotion or raise, it's like it didn't happen because everyone else just got their pay raised to the same as yours.
