What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being able to communicate with others.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having the customer leave here happy with the service that they receive.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel like my voice is heard when we need something different in the work life that they listen to our needs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We find it easy that if someone is falling behind on something that someone is always there to help pick up the slack.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all seem to get alone well. There is some things that need to be worked on and addressed but I feel that we can work well.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like with the back office workload that we have we deserve a higher pay rate with the volume that we work through on the daily.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Its nice that we get something quarterly. But I feel like with working in a branch and having to meet the goals each month we need more of a bonus for the work we get done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a small town branch so we get alot of regulars that come in. So I guess the customers because they know who we are by name and we know who they are by name.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all see to get alone with each other. There's a few times we but heads a bit but we seem to always work well with each other. And help pick up something if we are needing help
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In my position I feel like I do a lot of work for my position and have a lot of responsibilities along with it. Between working both behind the line and behind the desk I am always doing something.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Since I have been here at First Merchants the branches have received three pay raises. Since I have moved to the back office I have not seen any pay raise for the back-office workers. I feel that we in the back-office work just as much as the branches do and should receive the same incentives
