Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
New employees are making more money than long-term employees, due to higher starting pay. The raise structure does not keep up with inflation, which may lead to higher turnover.

Valuing employees through respectable compensation. There never seems to be enough money to pay individuals lower on the totem pole, but there always seems to be enough for Executive team members and their favorites.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Look at current employees, rather than focusing all the attention on new hires. Think about the cost of turnover versus the bottom line. The money you save on not giving current employees raises or alternative incentives will cost triple the amount to acquire, train and implement their replacements.
