Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

FMB cares more about the executive team and lining their pockets. They forget that it's the little people that make it all possible. I only stay because I'm too old to start over again. I'll retire in a few years

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We have the ability to work remotely

What makes you most happy at work?

That I'm getting paid to do work.

What makes you most happy at work?

At least I have a job.

What makes you most happy at work?

The fact that I'm getting paid

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all get along well

What are some of the best things about your team?

They are nice & kind

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Salary increase; Care about everyone. Not just the executive team

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Including everyone as a whole. Not just the executive team.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication; Acting like they care; Taking an interest in me as a person

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are the lowest paid bank in the area. New employees are hiring in making more than seasoned employees. We aren't given a cost-of-living increase.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

We're all just a number. Before we got so big, the leadership team used to truly care about the 'little people'. Now all they see are dollar signs and will do whatever it takes to line their pockets.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are the lowest paid bank in the area. Our raises are terrible. I have been here for over 20 years. I could quit & get re-hired making more than I am now. FMB doesn't care about their long-term employees.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I've been with the company for over 20 years. I could quit and hire back in as a teller making more than I do right now. The bank doesn't give cost of living increases. The bank only cares about the bottom line.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Prices keep rising. FMB doesn't give a cost-of-living increase. My .35 cent annual raise (on a solid performer review) doesn't help a lot. I'm not going to go 'above and beyond' if I'm not appreciated or paid to go above and beyond. I work my wage.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are the lowest paid bank in the area. The bank also doesn't give cost of living increases. If you work here for a long time, they 'thank you' by giving you a 2.5% raise each year. Then they turn around and hire people with no experience, making more than the tenured people.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are the lowest paid bank in the area. They supposedly did a survey to see what the average salary was for midwest banks, and I made $.10 (10 cents) more than the average therefore, I didn't get a cost-of-living increase. Costs are going up everywhere, but FMB doesn't want to pay their employees b
