My personal experience has been positive. I do feel it has alot to do with previous leadership. I have never had a leader/ mentor like Steve Karn and I'm hoping that continues with the new changes.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My direct team is close knit. We are care about each other personally and professionally. That to me goes a long way.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy what I do. Real Estate has been apart of my entire adult life. It's all I know and learning the lending side has been intriguing.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Currently, we're undergoing changes. Previously my direct leader was Steve Karn. I cant say enough good things. John Novosel is my new direct leader and he is diligent, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe there is alot of administrative work involved with associate positions. Along with the software systems here and alot of balance. I personally believe incentives for those who support RMs would be appreciated.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture withing my direct team is very positive. I feel valued, accepted and heard. As far as company wide outside of my team, from what I've experienced FMB has a ways to go in regards to inclusiveness and growth.
