So far, I'm starting month 3 and the first 2 months have been wonderful in terms of learning and getting to know the company!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I'm almost through my first full year at First Merchants and have learned a lot. I believe that we are a good lender and a good bank in regards to making clients better off financially.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our executive team seems to really care about our clients our how our employees feel.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The focus on employees and the culture. Hearing success stories and coming in to help clients prosper!

I like our management executive team here, in the world of banking, I believe this matters so much
What makes you most happy at work?
I like when we are able to help clients with something that changes their lives in a positive way.

I like that they go out and visit the branches often. Mark Hardwick takes the time to get to know employees

I really enjoy the lending side of things, trying to find ways to save clients' money in there day to day lives
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team has been supportive since day one; I feel like I can go to everyone in our branch and get great assistance.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would really like to go to a sales role full time if possible, I contribute as much as I can as a CRR to our lending goals. But, in banking this is my passion, I believe I have a lot to offer and would like to advance my career
