Depends on the actions of other people and how certain situations are handle if I would think about recommending someone to work at FMB. My manager is best!! When it comes to departments outside of the branch, it almost seems most just do not get what goes on and so much becomes expected of us
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I work for the best manager within a banking center. However upper executive teams need to have boots on the ground before changing something especially in the banking centers. they need to have a better understanding before a change is put into place, especially compensation.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My manager is one of the most positive people I know.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping and doing what is right for my customers who are respectful people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is always supporting me with my outside life. When it comes to work though, we are all often held to different standards which is pretty obvious at times.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Upper management does not communicate with the banking centers correctly about changes especially incentive changes. We get told that we will have goals by a certain and that date passes and we might get them 10 days later.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have some team members that work well together and are on the same page of hitting the banking given to us and the banking center. However, on the other hand, we have some that do the bare minimum and reap the benefits of the others hitting the goals.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With a market adjustment in the banking centers, I now make the same hourly rate as someone who has been in this same role for less than 6 months. While I have been in this role for over three years now. How is that fair to those people? Loyalty and tenure do not go very fair it seems.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With benefits, often times the eye insurance does not cover anything on purchasing contacts, which adds up fast in a year. I am in a customer facing role. All of my goals are based on sales. I cannot control bad credit on loans so in turn, I enter 10 loan apps and they are all denied due to credit.
