Environment is flexible and accommodating to life schedules.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Care given for client success. Intentionality of calling efforts to win new business.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication, talent development, investment and focus on community banking, credit culture, and holding middle management accountable.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Overburdened by workload in relation to my peer group, poor compensation/merit adjustments based on solid performance and reviews, poor support with ancillary banking services, and large middle management layer with not perceived accountability for performance.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Goals and book managed is higher than peer group. Little to no actual compensation improvement over the last few years. An incentive plan that continues to be watered down with a "liquidity premium" deduction to profit spread - reducing on balance sheet term loan incentive production.
