Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I enjoy working at First Merchants, however, there are many things that need attention and they do not seem to get attention. The pay scale, the incentive plan is sometimes is not an incentive, working relationships with HR and some other partners could be better, reporting system is lagging.

A smooth day, no call ins or short staff, positive environment
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Raises do not keep up with inflation, insurance expenses continue to rise and deductible is high so we still pay more.

The compensation is low compared to the market. Annual merit increases do not even compare to inflation and the cost of living as well as the cost of insurance/health care increasing regularly our salaries do not keep up.
