What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Diversity and an acceptance that people occasionally make mistakes, or might need allowances on occasion.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping the clients, especially people that might not be as technically savvy as others in the growing age of digital currency, banking, et. al.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Dental. I'm getting a tooth pulled literally tomorrow and gave my dentist my Delta Dental card in advance for a pre-estimate. They're covering 80% of it so with my deductible and co-pay it's only going to cost me $84 dollars and some change.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Very engaging. I've heard stories of other banks where leadership was solely interested in doing as little as possible, delegating literally everything. It's different at First Merchants - my Managers Shane and Porcha embody the difference between 'Boss' and proper management whilst 100% in charge.
