It’s great upper management needs a lot of help but over all it’s a great place to work

We never see the CEO and I really don’t think anyone could tell you who it is if someone was to ask
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Fred Meyer?
I would tell every employee new or old failure to show up everyday and complete your task and for those that don’t because your to busy trying to get out of work will be terminated. But the company needs to hire more full time staff

Most are fantastic, however there are those that are only there for a pay check and don’t pull there weight

There are very few people at our store that actually want to stay. It keeps getting worse & worse. The store is going the “Kroger” way & it’s making this store bad

Fast I tell everyone to come in rested and ready to work fast and hard

I enjoy it I love my job and enjoy the work and the staff I work with

Don’t have them, well at hourly levels
How secure do you feel at your job at Fred Meyer?
Being union, my job is basically always secure. You really have to screw up badly in order to lose your job here, which is both good and bad. You'll see people who call in frequently and nothing happens to them, while you suffer because of their actions.
How much diversity is there among employees at Fred Meyer?
It really depends on the store. Fred meyer is an equal opportunity employer, so if you live in an area that is more diverse, you'll see quite a bit of diversity. If you live in an area that is more culturally secluded, you won't see it as much unless someone transfers in from another store for whatever reason.

Why do managers/human resource officers not return phone calls when they state they will. They will not even return emails. This is very stressful and frustrating.
