It was good 8-10 years ago since there were clear goals & rating system and career paths that you can drive. Now every two years I should search for another job in GE. I am also facing unfair emp. practices. My former role became redundant just after I applied to a job.no equal opp.in some locations
What makes you most happy at work?
foundations of GE and my work scope.
What are some of the best things about your team?
polite and eager to learn & try new things.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
they are very proactive to try new technology which have great impacts.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Balanced accountability for everyone in the team. I don't think the company really cares about diversity and different cultures. I don't see an opportunity on career which was better 10 years ago in GE. Every org change I had to look for another job within a limited and stressful time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is not regional focus and analysis on the compensations. I cannot afford my and the family living. It is not even close the competitors for similar roles. my band was decreased due to job change which seems not fair. there should be a serious increase in our country due to inflation.
