Used to be a great factory to work in. Stupid business decisions ruined that.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Competent, goal oriented, ambitious, reliable.

What makes you most happy at work?

Personal achievements and my co-workers.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Days of "work culture" are gone, if we're trying to operate with temps only.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

How about annual merit increases for a change instead of increasing health care contributions?

What are some of the best things about your team?

They're still highly motivated to move us forward, despite being constraint by R&D budget reductions.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Be consistent in your message. Stop hypocrisy. Put your money where your mouth is. Invest in R&D.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Our factory was the poster child in the organization for many years. Yet there's no pay increases "because renewables is performing so badly". On top of it, health care contributions increase every year. Never mind our frivolous CEO's compensation packages.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Practice what you preach- put your money where your mouth is. Give factories autonomy about business decisions. Massive top-down changes are required to correct a bloated and head heavy organization. Don't dictate unachievable targets and apply punishment if these goals can't be achieved.
