We work on some truly incredible technology. Some of our beauracracy leads to aggrevation. There is a lot of respect for one another and a shared desire for everyone to do well. We sometimes work so fast that we can't finish what we were previously doing.
What makes you most happy at work?
We are faced with a lot of challenges, but there is a strong culture of helping one another through difficult times.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There are several leaders that are able to connect with those at lower levels in the organization. This really helps hold the organization together.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We listen and safety is a top priority. Although many technology industries are challenged with diversity, I think we are better than we give ourselves credit for in that area.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have been delaying merit and promotion salary increases, with reasoning that our cost of poor quality is preventing such actions. Motivating with salary actions would help energize the teams in the direction of fixing our problems.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have some very talented engineers doing amazing things. There's also a sense of commoradary and humility among many of us. I often say that I like what I'm working on, but I love the people I work with.
