What is the best part about your compensation package?

Vacation 25 days per year.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Safety. We are trained in safety and management re-in-forces safety culture at staff meetings. We have volunteer positions for safety committees. We have safety inspections.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

More realistic understanding of technology hurdles in software. Need a more practical approach. Need a better understanding of best practices and willingness to adhere. Insist on more complete specifications for function and design. Stop trying for "global" methods and tools.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

coworkers need to learn better techniques. Need to apply LEAN 5S. Even though we have been trained in LEAN 5S need to apply. Less team building (gossip meetings). Adhere to review process (in writing), for all specifications and software. Including factory test software.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Be candid about defects. Require new product developers to support that product forever, so they have incentive to make it right and learn from mistakes. Only let them get new project when support for their old project comes down enough to free up their time. Do not farm out life cycle support.
