What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Be more responsible & avoid the blame game within your team. Be open to feedback and genuinely act on it. Consider your employees as humans and respect them. Stop bombarding employees in front of the whole team.

Leadership needs to get better at recognizing their own in-house talent and helping that talent grow into better roles. It seems like leadership would rather take somebody from the outside and give them a good position than find the in-house talent that can grow into that position.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Serious role clarity between departments, employees in order to have better leverage for compensation discussions. Bi-annual raises / position changes.

Appraisal given doesn't justify the amount of quality work done by me (in spite of getting high ratings). Managers are not at all open for a fair discussion & they try to forcefully manipulate us. Slang & filthy words have also been used against me. HR is here only to support of the management team.

New entry level hires are starting at higher salaries than we did 10-15 years ago. Nearly impossible to get a decent raise without changing positions.

I feel like my talents are ignored. I am not doing what I went to school for although I bought it up with my manager many times. I feel forced to become what management wants me to be rather than grow into what I want to be. What they are forcing me to be is undervalued to what I can really do.

We are treated like invalids, brainless drones doing meaningless tasks incapable of thought and idea. The relationship is not repairable.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I feel like communication in my department is horrible. Management only talks to 1 or 2 people in our team about future plans. I guess he expects that to trickle down to the rest of the team. It never does and a lot of people end up feeling left out. It doesn't feel like a true team.

The company culture is one of people supporting each other in their work and friendly in their interactions.

There is NOTHING positive in the culture and environment of this company. Nepotism is promoted and highly supported. Egoistic people are decision makers in my team with full support of HR & higher management. Employees are threatened of low appraisals and made to work overtime without any comp off

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Work and responsibilities are mundane. Has to do with the process in which the department operates .

Efforts of the employees are not at all considered instead they are bombard regularly irrespective of the results. Attitude of the managers & HR is pathetic. Nepotism is highly promoted. No good appraisal/extra benefit given. Technology used is way outdated. These things need to be improved.

Again, I don't feel like part of a bigger team. It feels like there are "favorites" that get all the better treatment and news while the rest of us are left on the outside.
