Harbor Freight Tools – I haven't even been here for 90 days and they wrote me up for emails instead of helping me. The training is crap along with mostly the upper management. Bring back the people who started the dang company. Horrible hours and everything is all about money for the yacht. Horrible management, period. | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

The coworkers and most supervisors/ management.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The scripted interview questions. It was easy and professional.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Management in sales needs to stop worrying so much about sales and treating employees like trash. PROPERLY TRAIN EMPLOYEES!!!! You're so worried about money for the dang yacht, but you're wasting your money with turnover from selfishness.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Again, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! Sales, sales, sales. Sticking your nose into everyone's business: phone number, address, email and much more, credit cards, ect. Stop being so dang selfish and try having some humanity, empathy and understanding for employees and customers for once.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Stop treating employees like a cog in a machine. Help your new employees instead of writing them up for some petty crap that you lie and say that you have talked to them about. Pettiness and narcasistic management in the sales area; it's all about the money and not about the employee.
