PTO is amazing, and extremely rare in the customer service/retail industry. 401k for part timers like myself is awesome
Everybody knows what they have to do and get to it. If you need help they are right there, and vice versa
Nobody is afraid to get dirty and get the work done. Some of the younger ones are a little slower, but that's to be expected in today's culture
I was just looking for part time, as my wife is the breadwinner and I was a stay at home dad for 2.5 years, and am raising 2 boys now, so we needed a little extra. I have an extensive knowledge of tools and construction work, as well as customer service, so I was a natural fit.
Honestly, for me it's the shopping I'm gonna do before or after my shift, and the k knowledge of tools I'll gain while there. EVERY single time I do a truck, I find a tool that I didn't know existed, or that we carried. I basically work for tools, though the discount could be deeper on sale items.
