I couldn't possibly find a thing to complain about that wouldn't just be a nitpick. At the same time, I'm pretty sure I couldn't imagine having life long friends that I'll make here (aside from a few people I knew before I started). And I'm ok with that. It's a very nice, respectable, adult job.

Working at Instacart is very pleasant. I've worked at places that are maybe more "cool" or "buzzy", but those always come with huge drawbacks. Instacart is very balanced and I the work life balance alone is enough to keep me here as long as possible.

I get to work on interesting stuff, I am trusted to do a great job and always deliver, but without question the most important one to me is the work/life balance. people love to throw that around, but here I feel like I can get my work done and then truly unplug after.

They seem like real human beings, they make good decisions, they are very open and transparent and over communicate in the most helpful way

The fact that my boss has such a hands off style but offering key guidance and assistance to help when needed is the perfect balance

I don't think it's a matter of anyone improving, I think I just loathe pop culture and a lot of the team is very involved in it. I think I'm probably the weird one and am kind of ok with that.
