What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

This question has been answered within the other few questions.

Put associates first so they can put customers first

Stop retaining childlike people at hour most vaulable place. The check out. Actually listen to your workers when they tell you theres a health code violation. (Still hasn't been fixed, its been months) Stop going on powertrips and actually help.

Toxic micromanaging on every aspect of the company needs to stop.

As long as managment gets their bonus nothing is wrong.

Blatant and excessive greed is a major issue. Price gouging. Crappy treatment of employees from corporate. Those at the top need to pay more attention to those who actually make the company run, and quit thinking only with their bank accounts.

Pease lefer to previous statements

Stop cutting hours and give us the employees we need to do the job right

no real leadership. Blame for poor numbers placed on the people who are there working hard with not enough staff. Some depts like grocery, gen mdse, have lazy night crews Pallets sit on the floor for several days waiting to be unloaded carts of cardboard are regularly around the store for days

I have filled out these surveys for the nearly four years of my employment. It has only gotten worse or at least no improvement.

I have said this over and over again they need to train managers how to be great managers

NOTHING NEEDS TO CHANGE HERE

Review from Operations Dept

Revive/return the, Free Friday Download. Pay everyone a liveable wage. Stop micromanaging. We're adults. People must earn respect. Above all else, act in the professional manner that you expect of us.

I'm constantly hearing customers complain that there aren't enough cashier's and the lines are consistently long. That's because we don't have enough people scheduled due to hour cuts

Fix minor issues around the store

The way the customers are rude and the store managers don't back their people

I was shopping for tortillas on an endcap yesterday. There was a package of deli ones there they were seven days out of date, which means nobody in grocery or nobody in management had touched that in cap for seven days store conditions have gone to hell.

We need to recruit better hourly associates with better pay and compensation executives that have been in the business and have experience that I've actually worked in each department

Customers know how hard we work, complain about prices. Complain about no staff. Kroger obviously does not care about that

Treat their employees better, and compensate them appropriately
