What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are understanding and work hard
Manager is willing to work, not walk around and talk to eachother, ignoring the customers. They are able to fix problems or come up with solutions, unlike upper management who will "get back to you". Corporate removed postions with no action to allocate those tasks, letting them pile up.

Do not like their micro-managing check list business model. They do mot let their management team operate the stores. All they want are check lists feeled out on a daily basis! They don't want anyone to think on their own.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Life insurance is free and insurance for me and family is cheao

Too hard to pick. Really a great benefits package.

The workers there are fine
For the most part we get along. Most of us realize they aren't the center of the universe.
Even though working there isn't great, coworkers that you trauma bond with are the best
Its a mix. Some do everyone's job while others don't do anything at all

You see a lot of the same people, you really get to know them

Not much. Once in a blue moon, you meet another hard worker. Not often though.
Positivity depends on the store population. I am located in a store that had diverse races.
They are very diverse and welcome all

It was years ago when Baker's wasn't owned by Kroger. Great company then. Kroger has too many greedy corporate asshats who dont understand they can't take their money to the grave with them. They are all narcissists, pyschopaths, and sociopaths at the top.
