Overall it is a great company. It is extremely challenging, but it allows room for failure, and for growth. The company invests in you as a person, and as an employee, and the benefits are well worth any small headaches.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like knowing that I am gainfully employed in a skilled position, working for a company that values my skills and me as a person.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best part is that LG pays all my insurance premiums. This alone is worth a significant amount. I also love the employee discounts on products.
What are some of the best things about your team?
That we are a diverse group with a broad skillset, and that we leverage those as assets to increase our impact to the company and our industry.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The work environment is fast in many areas, but it allows for failure. The company understands the rapid iteration increases the likelihood for failure, but it uses that as a learning tool, and failure isn't penalized as long as you can learn from it and show the value in it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They encourage a healthy work environment for the most part. The only thing I see that needs work is more realistic remote options for those that have been working remote for over a year. The current expectation is a hybrid work environment, which seems silly if remote is working just fine.
