
My personal experience had been good until a reorg over a year ago, desperately in need of a mentor and advocate to help showcase the depth of my knowledge and encourage active utilization of my skills vs stripping me of virtually all major responsibilities.
its is simple- RESPOND TO EMAILS or VM
knowledge about a variety of the systems and policies
only positive is the technology
understanding not all business models apply to all channels of BU's
best and worst is the PTO- lots accrued but feel guilty taking it.
the insurance allows me to have all my medical concerns evaluated by a variety of doctors
the amount of pressure and workload placed on over performers is enormous but no accountability on under performers.
internal communication is horrible, tasks being worked on by multiple people and they don't know it, issue resolution is oversimplified without understanding systematic restrictions or HQ requirements
understanding how slim the internal infrastructure is in virtually every dept. You feel guilty taking off time because the additional workload your team mates will face or no one will do your job while you are out because no one has time.
