What are some of the best things about your team?

My direct team is highly professional. LG has created a adversarial relationship between teams. Each team is fighting for revenue, some for revenue they had not interaction with. Some get credit for work done by others. It is a continual fight. The company perpetuates it with the structure.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The bonus structure seems good; however, it is a moving target. It seems rules are continually changed to avoid paying bonuses. Goals are not set until after they should have been achieved. Seems they have made is complicated for the sole purpose to not pay. There is always a more proof needed.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

LG is always looking to save pennies at the expense of dollars. Too much training lately and is having a detrimental effect on employee work load, time with family, and it has no bearing on the bonus, which is already hard to come by. There are not enough characters left to provide everything.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

This is the hardest question to answer. No one I speak with is happy with LG anymore. I enjoyed work and expected to retire at LG. Now, I entertain all potential conversations regarding recruitment. LG is still hard to leave given the benefits. I have faith it may turn around and be positive soon.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Honesty - It feels there are two teams at LG. The Korean team and the American team. It is seems accepted that the Korean team does not trust the American team. The American team does not believe what they are told by the Koreans. Koreans get favorable treatment and are not held accountable.
