What is the best part about your compensation package?

Company pays for my medical insurance.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Less focus on process, more focus on people. All IT, systems and accounting is managed by HQ Korea. Those systems and processes do not transfer/translate to American culture. All of the systems are so antiquated and cumbersome.

What are some of the best things about your team?

There are people here that seem to care, but they are so defeated by the constant bullying and focus on the process. LG hires talent to do a job, then bogs them down to the point that they can't or don't want to do it anymore.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I am not confident this division will be around in 5 years and I do not think LG cares. No efficiency, no US IT, no US accounting. LG US as a whole would probably be more than double it's size if they didn't have such antiquated practices.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

The focus at LG is on process, not people. Focus less on the rigidity of the process and be more flexible. Ex: Shutting down a corporate card for one month. If you shut down a salespersons card, you are pretty much giving them one month of paid vacation, but "punishing" is of more importance.
