I have been in 3 departments in 2 years. It's not been easy to adjust to culture and to the environment compared to American owned companies. The biggest issue is the internal competition and the direction from top down. Many LG employees are only executioners, waiting on VP approval-not strategic.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership provides support when needed.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The majority of us are younger and still have spirit to do well.
What makes you most happy at work?
I get to help our customers purchase a new product and/or repair what they already have.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people. However, the attitude and environment from sales to service are very different. The company creates competition across internal departments causing a negative environment vs. a streamlined, collaborative work setting.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued for my experience and my dedication to making LG great. The only means of encouragement offered by LG that regards our hard work is compensation. Right now, I am supporting 3-4 full time roles as a single person. The market is paying much more for 1 full time role with less R&R.
