Overall, working at Lowe's has been a good working experience, especially as a college student. It has given me an appreciation for hard work and for the effort and love people put into making their homes and businesses comfortable places to live and work.

The interview process is personal and draws on a variety of experiences, whether it be work, volunteering, or internship experience.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership seems to care about making sure the stores represent their communities well. I like Lowe's commitment to veterans in particular.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I would say the comradery between the employees is a positive. The emphasis on serving in the community and benefits for veterans is also very nice.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Many of my coworkers know a lot about the products they are involved in selling. People are frequently willing to help their fellow employees, especially new employees.
What makes you most happy at work?
Positive customer interactions make me most happy at work. It is great when customers recognize the hard work you are doing for them. It is also nice when management staff show their appreciation as well.
