What is the best part about your compensation package?

Employee discounts on products in the store.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Managers conduct interviews for employees who will be under them.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Experienced workers who are happy to teach newer employees and share new knowledge with each other.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Understanding that what improves the bottom line in the short term will hurt the company -- and eventually the bottom line -- in the long term.

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Decisions that demonstrate the company cares about its store associates. The majority of recent moves have ranged from ambivalent to hostile toward associates below the level of store manager.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The culture and environment are both on a sharp downward trajectory, and there is little positive to say about either. One of the few positives is the Employee Relief Fund, for employees facing hardships.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

A recently introduced scheduling system that is almost openly hostile toward store associates, destroying work life balance, combined with cutbacks and firing associates to outsource their jobs to low quality third party companies, damaging store moral and undermining store functionality.
