What did you like most about the interview process?

The ASM who interviewed me was friendly.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Base pay is pretty good by retail standards.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Working with certain colleagues, with everyone helping each other.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Most of my peers are good folks, hard-working and team players. The same can't be said of most of the management team.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

A subpar management team, a chronic lack of communication, and poor-performing employees being largely overlooked while hard-working associates generally go without reward or acknowledgement.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

There are quite a few excellent associates at Lowe's, people who'd be great in any store. But with a few exceptions, the management team is mediocre, communication is poor, bad behavior is overlooked, and good behavior usually goes unacknowledged. I really couldn't recommend Lowe's to anyone.
