What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I believe most of us like the diversity among the employees and we try hard to get along with each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
When we all help each other get our work done. We encourage each other and give compliments to each other looking for the best each day. It’s how we do there.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team members I work with seem to get along with other and we try to get our work done and help each other when we can. The team we have now work hard.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our GM is very understanding and patient. He tries to be fair with all even tho some do not appreciate his kindness. The other leadership team members try hard to encourage others to be at work and preform our daily duties.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a housekeeper I strongly believe the pay wage should start at $10 an hour. It is a very physical demanding job where other housekeepers feel underpaid and call in often and put a lot of stress on the ones who do show up daily for work. Our hotel does not offer insurance nor good discounts to emp.
