Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Having gone to school for a trade, our time should be taken more seriously. Massage envy does not pay for the time that you are not booked, but mandate you to stay on an empty schedule.

There are many responsibilities that are placed upon you and you are not compensated for it. They expect you to do all of these things that are not within your job title. They would rather hire someone off the street than from within it seems
