Nothing about it is positive honestly.
The coworkers aren't the problem, I love them.
What compensation package? I get no healthcare, only 8 days of PTO and no vacation.
Being decent human beings. My direct manager caused my disability to act up and nobody did anything about her.
I don't pay attention to the company at large because why should I care when they don't care about me?
Putting more value into the workers instead of the managers. The managers are bullies and get away with so much.
I like one or two of them for the way they handle things and relate to workers, the rest are basically human garbage.
Meijer pays the bare minimum for their employees, even the ones that have been there for years. Their benefits are so sad they're like a pity prize.
Leaving at the end of the day, or working a day when my manager is off so another one is in charge that I like better and work better with.
Management needs an overhaul. The same horrible people have been in charge too long. The pay needs to be better and the workers treated like they matter and not like they're a warm body to use for business.
My coworkers are the only reason I make it through a shift. They are good people and although the part timers come and go quickly, the full timers stick around and we're good friends at work and outside of work.
