What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicate. Allow enough hours per department to do the job. Stop pulling GM employees for cashier's, which I'm sure doesn't show under the "actual" hours required to get shoppers out

First they need to pay their hourly employees more and give them better benefits. They also need to improve communication, policy consistency, ethics, OSHA standards, equipment, and general attitude toward their employees

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher wages. We should have been compensated long during 2020 due to Covid, since people continued to come in (like we were some place for them to get out of house).

I've worked for this company for 11 years, I make $15.25 an hour. That should be the starting rate. I do labor, I work nights, my compensation is not nearly enough for the job I do. Oh, and we are in the middle of the global pandemic and I am literally risking my life doing those things.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Better Service Manager, so cashiers stay and GM workers aren't manditorially required fill in for that area. Considering our "hours" up there are not recorded for Service. So hours are understated forwgat us really neeed to run the store
